Reunion #2

After the BIG family reunion, my parents took us to the coast for a family reunion just for our family... which was still pretty big. There were about 32 of us all together... 14 adults and 18 grand kids with two more on the way. We had a fabulous time. Allen had never been to the Oregon Coast which is quite a bit different than the California Beach. I think he liked it. Beware... there are a lot of pictures on this post.
Ever since Adelynn came to our house to stay before and after EFY she is our buddy. I really want her to come visit us in Alabama.... I am really hoping. I don't know if you can tell, but this is a pretty steep sand dune we all hiked up. Nathan and Craig prefer going down.
Pretty viewpoints.
Allen organized a ping pong tournament for the family. He won. Coincidence... I think not.
Waves crashing into rocks... I love the Coast!
The girls and the husbands: Craig, Laurel, (Isaac) Nate, Julee, Allen and I.
A few naps along the way.
Laurel some how always seemed to look amazing.
The boys, Zac, Drew, and Nathan were quite the sand castle architects.
Emmalee finally decided she would get in the water. I love her expression. It might have been a little too cold.
Lukas liked his sand bed.
All the manly men: Nate, Allen, Richard, Andy, Peter and Craig
Frisbee in the ocean. I think this is a pretty cool picture.
Julee and Isaac

We went to the tad pools. Matthew and Sam are checking out the starfish.
The kids hiked this really big sand dune... it was pretty intense. This is the victory picture.
Beautiful Sunsets
Allen loves frisbee. Everyone thought he was a little bit crazy. Peter would throw him the frisbee and he would catch it and crash into the ocean. This might have been the only way he went into the cold Oregon ocean.
Apparently Lanell doesn't love all the sea creatures.
Going down the hill was a lot easier than hiking
Cute mom and dad! I feel really grateful for having such wonderful parents. Thank you for allowing us to go to the beach house and be together.
Rich and Pete went for a run "Chariots of Fire" style
A few mini sand castles
Allen is debating if he likes the "beach" or the beautiful coast.
Nathan looks pretty awesome jumping the dunes.
Julee, Peter and I with our dad on an evening hike.
Amber likes the starfish
Jenna and Celeste looking cute
We had a fabulous time at the coast. Family Reunions are amazing. We already miss everyone.

Family Reunion #1

We recently had two family reunions in Oregon. The first reunion was our big family reunion on my dad's side of the family. We had a fabulous time. Below are some of our adventures...
There was a lot of ping pong... nice action shot Nate
There was a lot of four square And a lot of foosball
Jackie and Ashley analyzed the entire family. I think we are all a little bit interested as to what was said.
Issac always looked cute
Aunt Laurel finally became friends with slugs instead of killing them with salt.
Peter, Bryan, and Dad
My dad and my uncles looking fabulous with their new noses
Tracy loved the family game of Grunt Piggy Grunt.
Of course there was singing...
And spinning....
Uncle Blaine sang Shadrack Meshack and Abednego
Lots of cousin bonding time....

Peter and Allen just taking it easy
Aunt Julee helped pull out Alan's first and second tooth

We went to a beautiful waterfall, but this was the bridge we had to cross to get there.

Everyone up on the the Bridge...
I love this picture. Big Allen and Little Alan

All of these little ones did the hike all on their own.

Ryan wanted to see the waterfall up close and personal.
My dad and I
And then everyone needed to take a "couples picture" Richard and Jackie
Laurel and Craig
Julee and Nate
Andy and Michelle
Mom and Dad
Allen and I
Richard decided to go swimming in the water
Pete and I didn't join him, but we thought he was pretty awesome.
