Allen's cool.

Allen is a very humble dude do he probably wouldn't want me to post this but I'm the proud wife so I'm doing it any way. Today Allen received two big honors from the graduate school. He was honored for getting first place on a presentation at research week and the ghee was one of ten honored graduate school students of the year. What a cool dude!

6 Month Comparison

Lucy had her 6 month check up this week.  She was 14lbs and 24 in.  She is in the 10-25% for weight and height.  At every appointment she has been about 1 lb less than Leo.  Think their little bodies are pretty similar.  Short and compact holding all that chub!  Oh I love these babies!

A-Day Weekend

 We had a very fun filled Saturday.  Saturday was A-day... apparently it is when Auburn has its spring game practice.  It was especially significant because it was the last time the trees at Toomer's Corner were going to be rolled before they are cut down.  The day started off with us volunteering at a color run.  It was so fun because Leo got really into it.  He was pouring the paint on the runners yelling "Get Her!" over and over.  Then he would say, "MORE!"  He definitely was more blue than than the runners

Lucy slept through a good portion of the race.  

 We then cleaned up and went to a strawberry u pick farm.  Leo also loved helping to pick and carry the strawberries... and the strawberries are delicious!

At Lunch, Leo decided that he wanted to play with Lucy's toys.  

Then it was Toomer's Last roll.  We were babysitting one of Leo's Nursery buddies so we had the boys in the double jogger and Lucy in the baby carrier.  With the double jogger, we weren't able to get very close but we were kind of there for the last roll.   

Easter and 6 Months

Allen's Dad was able to visit from New Orleans during Easter weekend.  We had a good time visiting, eating out, and going to an Easter Egg Hunt with Leo.

After Leo's first Easter Egg hunt, Leo knew exactly what to do this time.

They had a mini bounce house.... just Leo's size.

One of Leo's best friends was there too to swing with him on the bee swings.

And then our Little Miss Lucy turned 6 Months recently.  She is one happy little baby... as long as she is being held :)  We sure do love this little girl.  

Here she is sporting her first BYU Cougars shirt.  

And this is one of her first times eating solids.  I think she likes it!
