Joy School

This semester Leo had his first experience with preschool.  A few other moms rotated and had the kids meet once a week.  This year we focused on different topics ranging from transportation, to the digestive system, outer space, the holidays, etc.  There is one little girl missing from the picture, but this was the crew.  Pretty Crazy... Pretty cute!  We have had a lot fun.  Leo loves the day he gets to go to preschool.

Getting Ready for Christmas!

Thanksgiving Time!

For Thanksgiving this year we headed up to Kentucky.  My sister lives in Chicago, my brother lives in Pennsylvania, and his in-laws live in Kentucky.  So it seemed to be a good meeting place.  We had a great time and we feel so grateful for Jason and Lisa for opening their home to us.  Total there were 15 kids running around and 8 adults.  Leo loved having all the kids to play with.  They had a lot of super hero costumes and I am pretty sure Leo spent 98 percent of the time in some sort of super hero costume.  We might have to look into it.

On Thanksgiving, we only had 9 pies.  Not the most, but not the least we have ever made.  And as Jenna is pointing out, Blue Bell ice cream makes everything better!
These are the 3 3 year olds

On our last day, Leo fell and chipped his tooth.  You can kind of see it in the picture.
We had a wonderful time and I think we might be making this a yearly tradition!

Birthday Boy Weekend!

This weekend we celebrated the birthdays of the boys in our family.  Allen's birthday was on Saturday and Leo's was on Sunday.  On Saturday some friends invited us up to a lake house.  It was amazing!  It was beautiful outside, it was big and beautiful inside and we just spend the day away relaxing.  The boys watched a lot of football.  We ate, we visited, we watched movies, I wish we could go back!  I think it was a great day for Allen's birthday.
Allie and Leo relaxing watching a show.

Allen and I were able to slip away for a little bit and go on a little mini date down at the lake.
Leo loved all the rooms to play in
Allen's conducting his own birthday song
I love this guy so much!
Bath time?  Swim time in a big bath?  Same thing!
Relaxing watching football!
Most of the kids all snuggled up watching up.

Love this little girl!
On Sunday, we surprised Leo with balloons for his birthday.
Sunday evening we got together with some friends to have dinner and celebrate Leo's big birthday.

I can't believe this little boy is 3 years old!
All day this little boy was practicing blowing out candles.  He would ask us to sing him Happy Birthday and then he would pretend to blow out the candles.  He was a pro after all that practice.  He was pretty proud it was his birthday.  All during church he walked around the building telling everyone it was his birthday!  "It my birday!"

Oh my goodness I love this little boy so much.  He is a handful at times, but he is the sweetest most fun boy I know.  We love you Leo B!

The Happenings as of Late

So I mostly like to post pictures with a little commentary... so here is what we have been up to recently.
Allen's MFT cohort recently got together for a a visit.  The three boys all still live near by, but the three girls live in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.  They all came down and I am pretty sure that they all had a pretty good time together reminiscing.

When Allen got back from Oregon and from his week long training, he had grown out a little beard... I wasn't the biggest fan.

A couple of weeks ago Allen had an Ultimate Tournament here in Auburn.  Leo loved cheering on Daddy.
I am pretty in love with both of these Ultimate players.

This is Allen's team... It was right around Halloween so they wore costumes.
Their team ended up winning the entire tournament.  At the tournament,
there was a dog that Leo fell in love with.  He kept it on its leash and walked it all around.
Here he is lounging with the dog all tied up!
Leo and his bestie Elsie out on a walk.

We made a gratitude tree for thanksgiving. Leo has done really well thinking about being thankful and he has put up a lot of leafs on to our tree.

Sometimes I find Lucy in unusual places.  And since Lucy got her picture taken in the ball basket, Leo needed his picture taken too.
We kept our Thanksgiving tradition and made our family of hand turkeys.  We recently read a book about creating hand turkeys so Leo was especially excited this year.  We have them hanging up in our living room and Leo loves to talk about his turkeys.
 Someone really loved the lasagna.
Leo really likes dressing up.  This day he was a cowboy with his cowboy boots and his trusted horse!
On Saturday we went to a tailgate on campus for the big Georgia vs Auburn game.  War Eagle!
It was a beautiful fall day and a fun tailgate... not to mention it was a pretty exciting game with an even more exciting ending.

Sometimes we like to surprise Daddy on Campus.  This was yesterday's surprise.  Good times :)
Yesterday was also a special day because it was Miss Ashley B's Birthday!  Happy Birthday Ashley B... I wish I could come sit on your desks and eat a bow of cold cereal!
Today Lucy was being pretty quiet in the kitchen.  I went to go check on her and found her on top of the table. What? How did she even get up there? She looks pretty happy up there.
We are having fun and staying busy.  We are especially looking forward to Thanksgiving with our cousins!
We can't wait!
