Leo is crawling. Cameo is a little worried.

For awhile now I've been encouraging, showing, and hoping for Leo to crawl. For some reason, it feels like I've accomplished something great whenever Leo does something new developmentally (for example, get teeth). Cameo, on the other hand, was never happy when I was trying to help Leo along with crawling. She argued that it was nice that she could just put Leo down and not have to worry about him getting into something on the floor (we haven't quite babyized our apartment). Well, Leo is now crawling and Cameo is a little worried about it. Here is Leo crawling and a picture of why Cameo is a little worried. But she's actually really happy too.

Already playing sports

You just had to know that we would get Leo started playing some game with a ball as soon as he was able. Well, he's not quite able but we got tired of waiting. This is one of his favorite games currently. If you listen carefully, you can hear him giggle when he catches the ball.

When the husband is away the COWS will play

Did you know that July 8th is Cow Appreciation Day? I didn't until my friend Julian told me. Friday morning Allen left to go to a youth conference. I wondered what Leo and I were going to do with ourselves for the day. Then our friend Julian called to tell us about this great holiday. She told us that if you dress up as a cow on Cow Appreciation Day you can get a free meal from Chic-fil-A. So Leo and I got our outfits set and we had our afternoon set. We didn't just go to one Chick-Fil-A... We went to 3. Why not stock up on free food? Leo and I didn't have to cook all weekend (Since Leo does so much cooking :). We just pulled out our chicken sandwich and fruit from the fridge. Everyone loved Leo. They wanted him to have something free too. Thanks Juliana for a great afternoon. We missed Allen but now that we know about this fabulous holiday I think it will have to become a family tradition!
