Halloween

Ever since we got back from Chicago our week has been filled with everything Halloween.  On Saturday our stake had a fall festival, On Sunday we carved our pumpkin, on Tuesday we had a Halloween preschool at our house, in our free time we were making Halloween Costumes, on Wednesday we went to our Ward Halloween Party and last night we went trick or treating downtown.  Leo picked out the costumes this year.  I was planning on making us "smore costumes" but Leo saw a picture of a kid football player and it was all over from there.  He got so excited talking about Halloween all week.  He loved telling everybody he was going to be a Football player and Lucy was going to be a football and mommy was going to be a cheerleader and daddy was going to be a coach.  I think it all turned out pretty cute!

At the fall festival Leo couldn't get enough of the blow up jump house maze... and he couldn't get enough of Stewart... he is always telling us that Stewart is his best friend.  Luckily Stewart doesn't seem to mind too much.

A little family fun carving our pumpkin.  Leo named him, "Pumpkin the Pumpkin!"

This is Leo's "bestie"  Elsie.  We have been neighbors and best friends the last two years.  The picture below was taken on Halloween two years ago.  Oh I love these kiddos!

Leo's friends from church... Henry and Stewart!
Gandolf and the Elf Princess... Their kids were the hobbits.  So awesome

I love how all the costumes turned out!  It was a lot of fun making them.

Leo was pretty excited about his treats!

One of my favorite young women!

My little Mummy

cutest little football I have ever seen!

The Rest of Chicago

We had a great time in Chicago!  Leo really misses his cousins.  The last week Julee and I went to the temple, we went on a little tour downtown, went to Jenna's last cross country meet, and just hung out around the house.  It was a great time!

Jenna's cross country meet was really cold.. at least it was for us folk from the south.
My favorite part of this picture is Isaac's face down below :)

A night at the Children's Museum

The Children's museum is free on Thursday nights so we took a  little trip there and then afterwards walked around Navy Pier.  We had a great time!
