Picture Overload

It has been a little busy near the end of the summer and the start of the new school year.  Here is a little bit of what we have been doing.
Who knew King Kong could be so cute!
Lucy loves to climb.  When ever the gate is off the stairs she goes straight for them.  Now she likes climbing on all of the toys.
And if Lucy is getting her picture taken... Leo wants to get in it too!
We spent most of our summer at the pool.  Allen's mom was able to come visit and we spent a weekend in Atlanta.  We had so much fun.  We went swimming, we went to Lego Land, and we went to a wonderful Children's museum in Atlanta.  We had a fabulous time.  We love when Grandma comes to visit!

Lucy slept the entire time we were at Lego Land.   It was really loud.  I was quite impressed with her sleeping skills.
Leo loves playing with food.  They had a whole pretend grocery story.  He was in heaven.

Leo is just painting a masterpiece.

The museaum even had a little play area just for Lucy.

This was just a little Sunday photo shoot.  Boys and girls don't match very often, but every once in a while it works out and I think it is pretty cute.
A friend of ours is starting to get into photography.  She came to playgroup to take some photos of all the kids.  I love the next four pictures she took of our kids!  Lucy was pretty stubborn and wouldn't smile at all.

Now that it is finally starting to cool down, we have been going outside a little more.  We have had this little bike for Leo for over a year and he is finally tall enough to ride it.  Lucy wishes she were tall enough now.

I am a little in love with Leo's face in this one :)

She is just too cute!
Last weekend we went to GA to run a "Zombie Run."  In the morning everyone else dressed up as zombies and chased runners.  I stayed behind to be with the kids a little longer.  Then in the afternoon we "ran"  the race where zombies chased us.  It was a good time.  I think I prefer just a normal hard race but it was still really fun.

These are the survivors!  All of them made it through the race with all of their flags!

One afternoon it was really quiet in the living room.  I got a little suspicious so I went into  check on Miss Lucy Kate.  She had found the tablet and was looking quite proud of herself.
Morning PJ time!
Allen and I have been trying to go on weekly dates more often.  It has been AMAZING!
Naked Babies!

I was serving in Young Women's with these little boys moms.  So they got to know each other really well during all those presidency meetings.  Sadly they both moved away this summer.  We miss James and Matthew and we miss The Brownings and the Steelmans!
Matthew was Leo were special little buddies. This was their last Sunday together.
 Just building forts with cushions.

A little Anniversary celebration.  6 years!
Here are just a few pictures of Leo being cute and silly. We sure love this little guy.

Leo has recently fallen in love with the Zoo.  Ever since we went for my birthday he always wants to go.  In fact sometimes he'll just say, "Bye mom!  Going to the Zoo!"  So when our friends were going and invited us we couldn't pass it up.

I don't know if you can tell, but there is a mama and a baby Rhino

Leo and Allie checking out the Giraffes.

And just in case you haven't seen  enough pictures just a few more for good measure.

Darling little family, Cameo. McKell climbs on everything, like Lucy. She's sort of a nightmare at the playground. Enjoy your sweet kiddos!
