March Madness

March was a fun busy month that just flew by for the Sabey family.  Here are a few pictures and events from the month.  

This is what happens when I get ready for the day... we all do our makeup together.  

One of the kids' favorite places is the "ball store!"  

Leo LOVES LOVES LOVES animals and I love geography so we have started a project of cutting out animals and learning about that animal and where that animal is from.  

The big event of the month was we ran a race.  Allen ran a 10k and I ran my first half marathon on 5 years.  It was a lot of fun.  Allen took first place in his age division and 5th overall.  I was pretty proud of him.  I was able to run the race with my good friend Ashley.  We feel very blessed. Our friend Taylor ran in college and has qualified for the Olympic trials in the marathon and has taken us under her wing and is coaching us!  It is so fun to get back into running again and to be training again!  

A very fun and exciting thing that happened  in March was our friends the Bertagnolli's adopted a baby girl. They moved away last summer but they came out here to pick up their sweet little baby.  For some silly reason we didn't get any pictures together.  But we are so excited and thrilled for them.  This picture of Allen and Lucy was taken when we were visiting with them.

 The Most exciting event for Allen was the second day of March Madness.  Our friend Jake was given some amazing tickets to March Madness and invited Allen so we also took a trip up to North Carolina so he could go.  They were on the second row right behind the reporters.  It was pretty exciting for the both of them.  We could even see them on the TV.

 While we were up there we went to a fun children's museum that the kids loved!

This was for my dad.  He loves connect four. 

 Leo misses his girl Allie!  They are such good friends.  I just love them.  

 All the kids together.  I wish we lived closer.  

And I miss this girl so much!  

We also went to a little Raptor presentation on Campus.  Lucy and I were a a little cold, but Leo Loved it!
