Last weekend, Allen had his dance competition (Dance Sport). He and his partner were dancing the Samba. He did fabulous! Just watch the video :) It was so fun to watch him along with all the other dancers. He was called back the first time, but when he should have gotten called back a second time he didn't get called back.
So this is why I stick to track or running... the real winner wins. You train the hardest, you run the fastest, you win. It is not dependent on whether a judge will see you. There are no judges in track!
Maybe now Allen will convert to running marathons so his hard work can pay off :) And actually... at the Rex Lee Run, "Everyone's a winner."
