Oklahoma!

Allen's first graduate school interview is tomorrow in Stillwater Oklahoma (This is why I am still up blogging instead of sleeping... my husband isn't here to remind me to go to bed.) I wanted to wish him luck in his interview... but also... if he is accepted, we need to know the pros and cons of Oklahoma. For instance... Pro - I could constantly sing "Oklahoma" or "Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day... I've got a beautiful feeling... Every things going my way" Con - It is in the middle of nowhere. (I've never been there so yes I am making a judgement without any real evidence... please tell me if I am wrong.) Please keep the list going.
Good luck Allen!

These are the nicest people you'll ever meet. The best part of living here is our ward. I don't know about Stillwater, we've never been there. We live in Tulsa. WE like it ok. It's temporary and that is nice to know. My biggest con is how hard it is to get out of Oklahoma. You'll either have to go to OKC or Tulsa to fly out and then probably fly to Denver or Dallas-Fort Worth to go to Utah or Oregon. It's expensive. And it's hard to get people to want come to you.

Never been to Oklahoma but as you may remember we lived in Texas for a year. It was fun! Very different but the "southern charm" did not disappoint. Some very good friends of ours lived in Oklahoma city while the husband was doing medical residency and they really enjoyed it. I know you'll make the best of wherever you end up though since you have such a good attitude!

oh cameo...do you not remember your dear friend who graduated high school in Oklahoma? It is the best place ever! The people are seriously the nicest people you ever will meet. There are really only 2 major cities and it is kinda in the middle of no where, but it's great. It's not like we rode around on horses instead of cars. But it is great fun. And plus if you are in Stillwater you can go to Eskimo Joes!

I make pretty much all of my decisions based on whether or not I can turn the location into a song...I think you are on the right track!

I don't know anything about OK, but it would be an adventure! I hope it goes well today (I guess went by now!). And if we go to AK then we could have some fun together!!!

Good luck, Allen! I was going to comment earlier, but I couldn't really come up with much. I'm just a visitor of OK, but I really do like it. There's a good strength of LDS members, it's not desolate, and you'll be somewhat close to us! Love you, Cameo!!
